I recently read a post on Apple's official blog announcing that the Vision Pro Developer SDK has been released, allowing developers to test the Vision Pro in a development environment.

Developer Tools to Create Spatial Experiences for Apple Vision Pro Now Available
Apple announced today that it is providing new software tools to support the development of groundbreaking app experiences for Apple Vision Pro.
"Next month, Apple plans to set up developer labs in Cupertino, London, Munich, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo to provide developers with hands-on experience testing apps on Apple Vision Pro hardware and receiving support from Apple engineers. Additionally, development teams will be able to apply for a developer kit to build, iterate, and test directly on Apple Vision Pro."

Of course (?), Korea is not included in the opportunity for developers to test on hardware in advance.

Well... Apple hasn't really done anything special for Korean developers so far, so I guess they'll have to figure it out on their own again this time...

Although I am a half-baked developer who can only use Unity, I read this post thoroughly to see if I could try out the Vision Pro development environment in advance.

While I could see a few notable points...

"Developers who have created 3D apps and games using Unity's excellent development tools can port Unity apps to Apple Vision Pro starting next month and fully utilize their powerful capabilities."

Oh!!! Unity will support it starting in July too.
I love Apple, I love Unity.

For a half-baked developer like me who can only use Unity, this is wonderful news. ㅎㅎ

And there were a few other things that caught my eye..
There was an introduction to MR content being developed in collaboration with Apple's third-party partners.

Isn't this the thing MS HoloLens wanted to do continuously in the past..

Hehe.. Will the value of the experience I and many other MR content creators wanted to realize through HoloLens eventually be achieved through Apple..?

It feels quite strange..

Anyway, it seems you can experience the Vision Pro SDK via the Xcode Beta version. Although I can only use Unity, I am downloading it to try it out, even if it's just an indirect experience.

You can download and try it from the link below.https://developer.apple.com/download/all/?q=xcode%2015

It seems you need to check out and download the Vision Pro OS to use it.

It's still downloading (it takes all day..) Once the installation is complete, I'll try it out and leave a review.

Of course, to reiterate, I barely know anything about native development, so.. I guess I'll have to just twiddle my thumbs until the Unity development version comes out.

And Unity is also accepting beta applications.

News on Unity's beta program for spatial creation for Apple Vision Pro development
Unity's spatial creation application page for the Apple Vision Pro development beta program is now open. As Unity developers like me, we can expect to relatively easily develop Vision Pro content through Unity. Let's take a look at what's inside.
