A few days ago, I borrowed an Apple Vision Pro for about a day with a friend's help and used it.

Please refer to the following YouTube review for the overall appearance, features, and review content of the Apple Vision Pro.

Using the Apple Vision Pro, my overall impression was truly... that it was very good. I believe it showed the highest satisfaction and image quality among any HMD device I have used.

Especially the most excellent part was the high MR environment functionality that I hoped Quest Pro would realize in the past.. In terms of image quality, it felt similar to the Quest 3, but it amazingly prevented the screen distortion appearing on the Quest Pro and Quest 3, so much so that there was no distortion when looking at nearby objects or using a smartphone.

Even when I brought my hand right up to my nose, no distortion occurred.

Personally, I was very disappointed with the Quest Pro in that regard, and since the distortion part hasn't been greatly improved in the Quest 3 either..

Since I believe this is the most essential part of building an MR environment using the device's external cameras, I found this part really impressive.

Perhaps because Apple has already revealed to the world that it is possible, it seems to have set the standard for future devices. Future MR devices might not be able to compare if they don't have this level of distortion rate..

Of course, with Pico VR devices, they say they eliminated distortion by using a method that doesn't express depth.. Surely the Vision Pro isn't doing that too, right?

And additionally, the lens kit story.

Since the device I borrowed was purchased directly from the US, it was a model that could not accommodate a lens kit.

To use the Apple official lens kit, you need a prescription from an American optometrist.. Sigh..

Anyway, like me, people who wear glasses couldn't use this product while wearing glasses because the product was released so compactly.

So, I recently received and have been using the VR-Rock lens kit for Quest 3 and used it to create a custom lens kit for me.

It's a bit flimsy, but it can be mounted and works as long as you don't shake it too hard.

The files I created are shared below.

However, at first, the screen kept shaking and eye tracking barely worked, so.. was this guide blocking the screen.. was it unusable!! I was about to give up, but,

After readjusting the eye tracking, it worked well.

Watching a movie on Disney+ with the improved image quality of the Apple Vision Pro.. it was that good..

That concludes my very brief experience with the Apple Vision Pro.

Although the price is too high, the battery cable is very inconvenient, and it is on the heavier side, I was surprisingly satisfied with both the visual quality and usability compared to the many complaints from other YouTubers.

It seems to have set a standard for the direction future VR devices and immersive devices should go in various aspects..

Personally, due to the many obstacles in setting up the development environment and scalability, I look forward to the emergence of Samsung's new VR device or Chinese devices, which have been widely rumored.

And.. the Quest series, which is a source of love-hate, ㅠㅠ please give it some strength.
