Microsoft’s AI Foundry, which has been showing a remarkable pace of change lately, has introduced yet another new addition.
It is called Fireworks.

From the description, it looks like a new way to host LLM-based AI models.
It seems this service has now been brought into Microsoft Foundry.

It looks like this partnership is fairly recent. If you want more detail, the article below is a good place to start.

If I get the chance later, I should probably cover this in more detail. Microsoft’s overall AI strategy seems to be evolving in some pretty bold ways.
For now, it is only available as a preview inside Microsoft Foundry, so you need to make sure previews are enabled in your subscription settings.

That means newer models such as Kimi, GLM, and DeepSeek, which have been drawing attention lately for their cost-effectiveness, may also become available through Microsoft Foundry.

I will have to try it out myself and see what kind of differences it brings.
