Last year, I was using the Azure Credit I receive as an MS MVP to operate a WordPress site, but I ended up incurring unexpected billing and suffered a financial loss..

The reason was simply the MySQL hosting cost.. I was using WordPress installed as an image via App Service, but I only thought about the App Service cost and didn't consider the MySQL hosting cost..

How much I cried, cursing..

Even though I am an MS MVP.. I didn't know much about Azure.. it was a farce that resulted in a loss, and after incurring that loss, I immediately moved to NameCheap WordPress hosting and haven't even looked at the Azure side since.

However, while looking into other content, I wondered if there might be another way? Out of curiosity, I searched and found that in February of this year, Azure was officially providing a tutorial for the WordPress image?

Looking at the MS official documentation, the document was updated on July 12 of this year. It seems they are paying attention to it.

I am currently using about three WordPress hosting services... Since I was using the cheap NameCheap service, the speed was on the slow side... I was considering other solutions, but I will try to overcome the financial loss again and set it up, and if the speed is good, I plan to move there.

I hope my challenge (?) is successful.
