I bought the Quest 3.

However, unfortunately, the Quest 3 and Quest 2 straps are not compatible, and since I haven't purchased any Quest 3 straps or other accessories yet, I decided to make an adapter myself to connect them.

Using Vernier calipers to easily measure, creating in Fusion 360, printing quickly on the K1, revising, and repeating this process, I created the adapter.

Actually, the one that connects directly was created quite early on, but since I designed it to be printed in one go without supports while considering the structure, it took quite a long time.

Ultimately, a design obtained after investing half a day.

As shown below, it prints well without supports.

I printed it using the Sunlu carbon filament I've been testing recently. Since I used a PEI bed, a pattern formed on the bottom, and the quality turned out not bad. Since it is carbon filament after all, I wonder if the durability is also good..

Actually, after finishing the print, I looked to share it on Printables, but I saw that someone overseas had already made and shared an adapter.

However, the cable part of the Kiwi battery case I use does not bend, so I could not use the adapters available on Printables. Therefore, when making it myself, I took this into consideration and designed it so that there is almost no interference.

After finishing and deploying it, I see more points for improvement again. I used up almost half a roll of precious carbon filament just to make this.. ㅠㅠ

For now, I'll just use it and buy a dedicated strap for the Quest 3, or research how to make one again in the future.

Even though I tried this, I didn't get to play with the Quest 3 much, so I should really try to play with the Quest 3 a bit more..
