The biggest complaint while using the K1 printer is the issue with the slicer program itself.

So I've been waiting for an update, but the current Windows slicer version is v4.3.5.5769.

It was updated about 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately, despite firmware updates in the meantime, the slicer has not been updated.

In the meantime, Creality has blocked the use of external clippers via firmware updates, but I felt regretful that they didn't update the dedicated slicer.

However, when I tried using the K1 Max this time, the initial recognition phase for utilizing the K1 Max's LiDAR sensor was not properly implemented, so I checked and found that the slicer versions differ by OS.

Fast, in an Epic Way. Crazy 600mm/s*. K1 is 12 times faster than a regular FDM 3D printer. Now, sit tight for the thrill of breathtaking speed.

Ding.

Windows is 4.3.5.5769, macOS is 4.3.5.5791, and Linux is 4.3.5.5797.

Linux has the highest version, followed by Mac and Windows.

Of course, this might just be to differentiate OS versions.. I also thought there wouldn't be much of a difference, but just in case, I downloaded and installed the macOS version and tried slicing.

Then, a pattern for using the LiDAR sensor, which did not appear in the Windows version, was printed. ( Ding-dong ) This was when using the slicer's default normal.

It occurs to me that there might be differences in features depending on the slicer version..

Of course, it's possible I just couldn't find the option for using the LiDAR function on the existing Windows version.. ( No matter how much I look, I can't find it.. )

Anyway, I hope the slicer version gets updated soon.
