The high-speed FDM 3D printer market is being reshaped anew by the arrival of Creality's X1 series and P1P series.
It seems that Voron printers have been pioneering for quite some time, Creality made the market, and various FDM 3D printers have entered that market..
Creality, showcasing a diverse lineup with its cost-effectiveness, is now making a serious move into high-speed printing. Building on the K1 / K1 Max announced in the first half of the year, they have announced the Ender-3 V3 SE, a budget-friendly model, and now the CR-10 SE, a mid-to-low-cost option.

I omitted the K1 Max from the introduction. Since it is very similar to the K1, it would be good to consider it based on the K1.
Since they have such diverse specifications and it can be difficult to grasp their features all at once, I have summarized them simply in a table.

This table is subject to change and can also be viewed via the Google Sheet file below.
Overall, the K1 appears to be the best, featuring a Core XY structure with good speed and acceleration and a good-looking mainboard spec (it was difficult to check the specs on the official website). However, it is the most expensive, while the Ender-3 V3 SE appears to be a product that can be purchased for under $200 based on the official price, despite having the most lacking specs.
The recently announced CR-10 SE actually has some specs that are better than the K1 and looks more like a finished product compared to the V3 SE.. However, since the price is almost comparable to the K1, it might actually be better to spend a little more and buy the chamber-style K1 printer.
Of course, the CR-10 SE is equipped with linear guides, often called LM guides, so it may experience less vibration due to movement compared to the K1, which applies linear shafts. Therefore, since reviews for the CR-10 SE have not yet been released, if the quality degradation issues caused by vibration, a chronic problem with the K1, occur less frequently with the CR-10 SE, the CR-10 SE is expected to hold significant appeal in terms of price and print quality.
Also, regarding the extruder part of the head, which has been cited as a chronic issue since the K1's early release, the CR-10 SE seems to possess the power of LM guides... It has a relatively much larger head section, so I wonder if the extrusion method is also somewhat different.

I took some time to watch the CR-10 SE announcement live, and during the live Q&A, it appears the answer was that it is based on the Klipper firmware and will be an open-source target to be released after September, similar to the K1.

Unfortunately, it is still difficult to confirm whether the V3 SE supports Klipper, is open-source, or can be modified wirelessly.
I really hope Creality's dedication to high-speed printing is genuine. Already, three new models have been released this year alone.. Given that there are still several months left until the end of the year, I have a premonition that a high-speed version of devices like the Ender-5 series, which can print larger volumes, might also be released.
From a consumer's perspective, the arrival of various products with different specs and price points is something to welcome with open arms. However, having experienced the pain of using the initial K1 model due to its lack of completeness, while a larger lineup is good, I hope the company pays more attention to the completeness of the products and the software ecosystem.
The Ender-3 V3 SE I bought during the recent Ali sale is currently in transit. Upon receiving and using it, I can check the completeness of the V3 SE, which was the flagship launched this time, and compare it to the K1. I think we can infer how Creality is completing the product's marketability in the world of high-speed printing.
I hope the delivery comes soon.
